Hit Frequency – The frequency of winning combinations!

The frequency of winning combinations represents how often a slot “gives” a winning combination. Hit Frequency is closely related to RTP (theoretical refund).

Hit Frequency and RTP

Take for example two slots with an RTP of 96%.

A slot with a higher frequency of winning combinations has a better chance of making a winning combination – logically, however, the winning amount will be smaller. We will show you this through an example:

If you bet 100 dinars on one spin and the game returns 50 dinars, you did technically win, but, on the other hand, you also lost 50 dinars. So you’re not in the dark when we’re talking about “real” money. So, Hit Frequency implies the formation of a winning combination, but also includes prizes that are less than the bet itself.

And if we take a slot with a lower frequency of winnings, we get a slot that pays out larger amounts, but much less often. However, the chances of winning the jackpot on such slots are quite higher. These are mostly progressive slots with progressive jackpots, which offer bigger jackpots.

What negatively affects Hit Frequency is the number of paylines you bet on. The higher the number of lines you bet on, the higher the chances that you will “draw” the winning combination, but the higher the chances of losing. Simply, the longer you play, the higher the chances of winning, but the chances of losing money are also much higher.
