First Person Baccarat – a virtual French game of chance!

The game developers Evolution brings you First Person Baccarat game that uses the standard Baccarat rules. This card game is played against the dealer with the goal being to predict whose hand will win by having the sum as close as possible to number 9. However, in Evolution, you do not play against the dealer personally, but you bet on the dealer or player. The player always plays first.

Let’s start with the denomination of the cards and their scoring.
First Person Baccarat is played with eight decks of 52 cards.
Aces are cards of the lowest value and are worth one point. Cards from 2 to 9 are worth as much as indicated on the card, and 10s and Jacks, Queen and the King are worth 0 points.

Rules of the game
First of all, the cards are dealt after each shuffle. At the beginning of a new deal, one card is drawn face up. The number of cards to be dealt depends on the first card drawn. Let’s say the first card drawn is ten. 10s and cards with a picture are worth 10, so in that case, 10 cards will be dealt.

The game starts after you place a bet on the winner of the round. You have three main options: the player wins, the dealer wins or a draw. Then two cards are dealt to the player and the dealer, and the value of the hand is calculated by subtracting the number 10 from the value of the hand equal to 10 or more. For example, a hand that has 7 and 6 is worth 6:16-10 = 6.

If the value of the cards in the hand of a player or dealer is 8 or 9 after obtaining two starting cards, the cards are no longer dealt to either. And, if the value of the initial two cards of the player and the banker is from 0 to 7, the “Third Card Rule” is used to determine whether the third card will be dealt for one or both hands.
